URBAN ELEPHANT ARCHITECTS is a design studio founded in Guangzhou, 2008, working continuously and deeply in historic towns and villages in South China. The studio takes historical researches seriously, works on the evaluation of the heritages, the conservation and regeneration of historic areas, the restoration and rehabilitation of the existing architectures, the participation and community buildings, exhibitions, cultural and creative industries. It aims to heal the built environment by using modest designs.
