nota建筑设计工作室于2014年成立于中国上海。nota源于拉丁语，西语中意为“乐符、注释”。 建筑师的角色正如导演或音乐家，所写所现即为阐述自己的注解(nota)。决定音乐的不是乐符本身，而是乐符间的停顿。nota的建筑研究与实践皆立足于多学科交互的视角，以柔软的身段、严谨的态度和科学的方法调配设计所及之元素，旨在赋予每一个项目其专属的价值与生命。
