经过多年的磨合，丘建筑发展出一套比较自成体系的完整工作方法。草图与技术图之外，我们以大比例模型去直观地推敲设计——从城市关系，到空间；再到材料、构造细部。深化设计时根据需要也会使用渲染图，但拒绝浮夸的 eye candy 图像，而是本着模拟实景的原则，辅助推敲不同材料，对建成效果进行预判。此外，我们也拥抱新技术，大量使用 VR 来推敲设计。

QHD Studio —— Based on an international perspective, it is committed to professional comprehensive services of the front, middle and back ends of the space, focusing on the understanding of space art and life to create places. The design team adheres to the four core concepts, exploring, creating, balancing and living are the leading factors. It’s people-oriented and based on the exploration of the behavioral relationship between people and space. Space aesthetics research is used as the implantation method and technique to create a unique artistic vision and experience space.

Founded by Professor Li Brian Zhang, TeamMinus started as a design research laboratory in 2001. In 2005, TeamMinus became a full-fledge architecture office. Today, there are around 40 people working in the office. Throughout TeamMinus' works, there is an underlying inquiry for an alternative modernity in China. Witnessing the rapid, sometimes brutal Chinese urbanization, TeamMinus take a critical view on the received modernity in China. The separation of past and present, the pandemic of consumerism and iconography, and the positivism and technocracy in architecture making, are alienating Chinese buildings and cities.
