Based in Rome, Labics is an architectural and urban planning practice founded in 2002 by Maria Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori. The name of the practice – Labics - expresses the concept of a laboratory, a testing ground for advanced ideas. Combining the theoretical approach with applied research, the field of interest of the office extends from the interior small scale to the scale of urban masterplans, going through the different scales and complexities of the project.

LILIANA MACIEL, natural de Santo Tirso, é arquiteta, formada pela Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto.Possui várias paixões a começar desde logo pela Arquitetura, até ao design, fotografia, pintura e formação. Em 2008 e ainda enquanto estudante, inicia a sua colaboração com a Hélder Coelho – Arquitecto. Em 2009 conclui a Licenciatura e em 2011 o Mestrado. Foi adquirindo vasta experiência em projetos de Arquitetura e Decoração, para o território nacional e internacional, na execução de peças gráficas e escritas, bem como na sua compatibilização com as diversas especialidades e acompanhamento/fiscalização de obra, exercendo as funções de Arquiteta, Gestora de Projeto e Designer de Interiores. Paralelamente foi desenvolvendo projetos, como profissional liberal, cuja crescente expressão e vontade de abraçar novos trabalhos, ideias e desafios, levam à criação da LILIANA MACIEL

Laboratorio Permanente was founded in 2008 by Nicola Russi and Angelica Sylos Labini. The studio is based in Milan and has been commissioned projects worldwide. Laboratorio Permanente develops projects that integrate innovation and a contemporary expression with a profound understanding of history and contextual thinking. The studio has taken part in numerous international design competitions; won the Honour Mention for the Golden Medal for Italian Architecture in 2012 and partecipated in The 14th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition with an installation named “the landscape has no rear”.
