Le travail sur l’espace, l’inscription inventive, les liaisons décalées, les passages inattendus, le goût pour la surprise et les portes dérobées : ces données sont éminemment présentes dans les réalisations de l’agence. La somme d’expériences que les architectes ont menées, conjuguées à la gamme quasi-infinie de matériaux qu’ils parcourent, semblent conduites par l’ajustement de lignes qui s’entrecroisent, depuis près de 25 ans, dans l’ensemble de cette très riche production de l’atelier d’architecture King Kong. Ces lignes, ce sont celles qui portent le travail conceptuel, exigeant et joyeux, nourri de références sans cesse relues et réinterprétées, au crible du maillage perméable et tendu d’un parcours qui, s’il accueille la complexité, sait s’interdire la gratuité du geste pour construire, d’un projet à l’autre, une cohérence dont on n’a pas fini d’interroger les potentiels actifs.

The collective has been striving for top quality contemporary architecture and urbanism with the primary focus on the purpose of the building and the impact on its surroundings. The studio is recognized for the reconstructions as well as designing bespoke residential, commercial and institutional spaces of any size.
