Our team members, many active in design education, have diverse backgrounds. Our interdisciplinary process begins with collaboration, embracing input from clients, allied design professionals, and the community. We develop useful, meaningful, and lasting spaces that respond to scale and context.

Thomas Leeser is internationally known for his iconic architectural designs at all scales. As principal of his own firm for the past thirty years, his passion for the fusion of emerging technologies and architecture has driven many of the firm’s award winning designs.

LAA Office is a multi-disciplinary design studio that explores the territory between landscape, art, and architecture. Projects range from small-scale artworks, exhibitions, temporary installations, and furniture, to large-scale buildings, landscapes, and urban design proposals. Their current work focuses on synthesizing public art and public space to create more participatory and inclusive models for activating cities. The studio seeks to instill openness into their process and to create flexible spaces and objects that invite the public to engage with cities creatively.
