Forge Creative is the partnership of designer-makers Josh Kennard and Oliver Milne. They founded the company in 2013 with an ambition to put their creative skills to something meaningful. Driven not by money but the goal of fulfilment in a day to day job. Since then Josh and Oli have built a portfolio of commissioned projects and have developed their own range of furniture and products that they continue to add to.

My work resides in different artistic spaces: I trained as an architect and work for Steyn Studio, and alongside this I explore sculpture and photography. I grew up in rural Romania and I draw a resourcefulness from my upbringing and culture: I use found objects, local materials and respond to everyday moments and memories, shifting these into something surreal and nostalgic. I also enjoy leaving my work out in the open, in the street or suspended from bridges to see what happens to it, how people react and whether it survives.
