MORIYA AND PARTNERS was founded in 2011. We are a design studio that focuses on architectural design. Takahiro Moriya was born in Kanagawa in 1983 and has been an adjunct professor at Tokai University since 2014. We design houses and villas, offices and stores, and .In recent years, We have won the KUKAN DESIGN A WARD 2020 Bronze Prize and the JAPAN WOOD DESIGN AWARD 2020. We want to make the value of the place where it is built. We will systematize the "form," "material," and "technology" that are appropriate for that value.

The story of Maana Homes began one starry night in Spain, over some wine and scribbles on a restaurant napkin. Traveling together were two friends, a hospitality designer from LA and a creative director from NY who were tired of cookie cutter hotels. They stayed at vacation homes that were intriguing but lacked basic hospitality standards and consistent quality. Inspired by numerous beautiful and unique homes around the world, they begin drafting a business plan to create a collection of boutique homes that offers the Maana brand experience.
