Founded in 1986, ARCHITEM Wolff Shapiro Kuskowski architects was one of Canada’ first architectural firms to be led by women. It evolved from a close collaboration between Architects Andrea Wolff, Elizabeth Shapiro, and Magda Kuskowski. The team was later joined by Mira Katnick who became the firm’s fourth partner in 2006. Today, the firm is known for its institutional, commercial, and residential projects as well as its interior design work.

The firm is renowned for its expertise in the hotel industry, and for its design of bars and restaurants within that sector that have been woven into the fabric of Montreal’s vibrant scene. Atelier Zébulon Perron’s commitment to the quality and success of its projects has positioned the firm as a benchmark player in the industry, distinguishing itself through its minute attention to detail, and through the creation of custom-designed objects, lighting, and furniture. The firm has completed more than one hundred projects to date, all designed in close collaboration with its clients.

Batay-Csorba Architects was established in2010 by Andrew Batay-Csorba and Jodi Batay-Csorba as a collaborative architectureand interior design studio. The practicewas created in Los Angeles, California and moved to Toronto, bringing with itan unmarked outlook to the progression of design in Canada. Jodi and Andrewhave designed,directed and managed over 96 internationally celebrated projects in 38 citiesand 11 countries, both on their own and at Pritzker Prize-winning officesbefore founding Batay-Csorba Architects. Their own workhas been distinguished with international awards, widely published in over 80international publications and exhibited across 24 internationalgalleries.
