Niels Schubert is a German Architecture, Advertising & Art Photographer who lives in Stuttgart, Germany. Besides his commercial work he has been exploring the connection between humans, urban space and landscape for many years. The latest result of this artisitc examination has led to the series “genova – concrete & color” (2013 -2016) in which he demonstrates the implicit and undiscussed organisation of space and private sphere and the resulting pattern in the microcosm of public and private beaches in the greater area of the city of Genova. His photographic style can be described through precision and strenght which leads to pictures which are striking and informative. Established in 2007, Studio Nitzan Cohen is a multi disciplinary design studio with projects ranging from industrial products, furniture and spaces to art-direction and strategic consultancy. After many years as a designer and a project leader at Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design, and earlier graduating from the design academy in Eindhoven; Nitzan Cohen and his studio are busy combining a research oriented attitude with conceptual design and the ability to translate it into a new visual language, objects and spaces. Nitzan Cohen is a professor for Industrial and System Design at the HBK Saar in Saarbrücken and a visiting professor at the HEAD, Genève.
