Ruud Visser Architects is located in a small village in the middle of The Netherlands. From this typical Dutch landscape we study the specifics of locations. Sometimes it concerns a typological study of houses built in a specific village. Other times it consists a study of small bridges that connect houses to the street in a certain region. And it can also evolve around a study of reuse- possibilities of an existing building. These studies form the fundament underneath the architecture of our office.

Dit kan een sociaal, economisch, cultureel of ecologisch ecosysteem zijn. Wij houden rekening met de plaats in het systeem, of ontwerpen het zelf. Zo krijg je altijd een duurzaam gebouw dat waarde vermeerdert en in de loop van de tijd het systeem rijker maakt. En bovendien wordt het er ook nog mooier en leuker van!

Rolf (Dutch) was educated at the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University Delft in the 荷兰 and graduated in two departments: architecture and urban planning. Almost immediately after graduation he started his own architecture agency in the city of Utrecht where he allready lived during his studies. Assignments mainly consisted of reconstructions, expansions, extensions and transformations. In 2003 Rolf together with Marnix van der Meer founded a new agency: Zecc Architects.The assignments got bigger and allthough also projects for newly built houses and buildings were developed and realised, the emphasis remained on the reconstruction and transformation of existing ones such as a watertower, churches and schools.

Growing up in the flat countryside of Denmark, Rune spent most of his time drawing with and on whatever he could find. Now, many years later, Rune runs his own animation company Benny Box along with his brother Esben. Whenever Rune is not animating, drawing storyboards, or making things that moves, he is working as an artist and illustrator on a mixture of commercial and personal projects. Runes abstract, surrealist style plays with geometries, line, and tone. The result are subconscious scenes where characters of distorted proportions entangle with phantom scenes hinged between fiction and reality.

Beru Boards ist das Ergebnis meiner Diplomarbeit, eine kleine Longboard-Manufaktur. Sowohl das Produkt als auch das Konzept ist Teil der Entwicklungsarbeit. Die Decks werden handgefertigt, aus lokal verfügbaren und zu 100% FSC-zertifizierten Hölzern und die gesamte Produktion ist Lösemittelfrei. Durch das verwendetet Eichenholz in den Längslagen verfügen die Decks über ein äußerst harmonisches Flexverhalten. Weitere Informationen lassen sich in meiner angehängten Diplomarbeit finden. Verschiede Decks sind kurzfristig verfügbar, aber auch Sonderanfertigungen sind umsetzbar.
