Our work emerges from the desire to and interest in creating a link between people and places. A link that is both material and immaterial. Our perception is that persons, culture, spaces and places constitute a coherent sphere. On this basis we aim at expressing a feeling of belonging. We have a great curiosity towards different cultural backgrounds and layers in society. By which our work is inspired . Often our projects combine artistic creation with a functional practice. The artistic dimension gives us the possibility to interact with and influence the human mind, and the functional practice can create social relations between people and across layers in society.

Through reworking classical imagery and morphing it with a multitude of different styles and perspectives Sif Itona Westerberg casts a light on the shadowy, subcultural and suppressed sides of humanity and our society, which in our modern rational world has been pushed aside or ignored. Sif Itona Westerberg is a visual artist, working and living in Copenhagen. She holds a MFA from The Danish Royal Arts Academy. She works primarily within the field of sculpture, from where she examines new ecologies, relations and aesthetics within the anthropocene area.

EN Sigurd Larsen is a Berlin based Danish architect working within the fields of architecture and furniture design. The studio was founded in 2010 and has completed projects within the fields of housing, hotel, educational and cultural buildings and will continue to explore new fields. The work of the design studio aims to combine the aesthetics of high quality materials with functional concepts for complex spaces. Sigurd Larsen has designed furniture for various German, Danish and American design companies that are sold worldwide. A large number of the furniture pieces are available in the FormelA stores in central Berlin and Copenhagen.

Drawing on our strong Nordic roots we have realized numerous projects in Denmark, Europe, Asia and Africa.
