SCSTUDIO / Stefano Corbo Studio is a multidisciplinary network practicing architecture and design, preoccupied with intellectual, economic and cultural contexts. Stefano Corbo (1981) is an Italian architect, researcher and Assistant Professor at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design). He holds a Ph.D and an M.Arch. II in Advanced Architectural Design from UPM ETSAM Madrid (Escuela T¨¦cnica Superior de Arquitectura). Stefano has taught at several academic Institutions: Nanjing University; LAU Beirut (Lebanese American University); The Faculty of Architecture in Alghero, Italy; ETSAM Madrid; and has been a guest lecturer at St?delschule (SAC) Frankfurt, Deakin University in Melbourne, College of Design Minnesota, ESALA Edinburgh, The University of Miami, and The University of Wisconsin

Studio vit design objects for everyday use, for simple functions such as to give light, to deliver sustenance. They want their products to elevate these small everyday rituals, to be useful, satisfying and to be generous. But more than that, they explore less explicit functions: studio vit designs are also intended to create stillness and make space, around which the bustle of everyday life can exist. Studio vit describe their products as ‘making room for life’, atoning for a loud world.

Led by Mario Gentile and Tim Barnes, the multidisciplinary team engages with brands, institutions, and cities to complete projects at varying scales.
