Through reworking classical imagery and morphing it with a multitude of different styles and perspectives Sif Itona Westerberg casts a light on the shadowy, subcultural and suppressed sides of humanity and our society, which in our modern rational world has been pushed aside or ignored. Sif Itona Westerberg is a visual artist, working and living in Copenhagen. She holds a MFA from The Danish Royal Arts Academy. She works primarily within the field of sculpture, from where she examines new ecologies, relations and aesthetics within the anthropocene area.

Studio Cadena is an award winning design and architecture studio interested in engaging contemporary life, the city and its people – in designing new and captivating spaces, places and experiences for those who use them. The studio is young, yet combines substantial experience in the US and abroad, ranging from high-level strategic planning for cities, to cultural, commercial, residential and civic projects – museums, libraries, private homes, interiors, exhibitions and furniture. Founded by Benjamin Cadena and based in Brooklyn and Bogotá, the studio was selected in 2016 by the American Institute of Architects for its biennial New Practices NY Award.

The Austrian design studio with offices in Vienna, Berlin, and San Francisco distinguishes itself with unconventional as well as particularly holistic concepts. What does Milan taste like? What does a mountain smell like? And what does the making of sausages actually sound like? Studio Riebenbauer asks these questions that may seem a little crazy at first glance – and always strikes at the very heart of the respective issue with them. It is not about seeing but experiencing and feeling brands. “We define new ways and create brand experiences for our clients that touch people,” say Franz Riebenbauer and Almut Becvar. They are not interested in half measures and utilize the entire range of a brand’s points of contact, from traditional communication to design and branded spaces – nationally as well as internationally.

We’re a group of three designers with an interest in materials. We are recent graduates of the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, where we completed our joint MA and MSc in Innovation Design Engineering. Our work with overlooked materials involves moving between scientific research, industrial practices, and making. We hope that this approach results in a body of design work that is intellectually engaging, aesthetically rich, and ultimately accessible to wider audiences.
