Jorge Almaz¨¢n Architects is an architecture and urban design practice committed to create environmentally responsible and socially inclusive spaces. Based in Tokyo, and with projects in Japan and Spain, we find constant sources of inspiration in the Japanese material sensitivity and in the Mediterranean urban liveliness. The name of our firm, Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscape design workshop (APLdw), represents an organization that provides not only building design but also urban planning, landscape, and even lighting fixtures designed as a coherent whole. Since our founding over thirty years ago, we have been involved in many projects, focusing on architectural design and spreading across diverse fields. Our projects have been highly appraised not only by our clients but also by specialists in a variety of fields. They have also been awarded many major architectural design awards within the country. In terms of our design work, Hidetoshi Ohno and Hideki Eguchi and Shinya Yamamoto supervise all of the projects, and the design work is advanced together with the staff in our office. We also work together with leading experts and professional organizations in various specialized fields.

junya.ishigami+associates is an international architecture firm based in Tokyo, Japan. The completion of the Kanagawa Institute of Technology’s KAIT Workshop in 2007, which was awarded the Architectural Institute of Japan Prize in 2009. Similar success followed with exhibitions at Venice Architecture Biennales, the latter of which being awarded the Golden Lion for Best Project of the 12th Biennale in 2010. The office has continued to enjoy growing foreign attention for the wide range of design possibilities we explore, from numerous exhibitions and installation projects, such as 'Ballon' and 'Table', to large scale construction commissions: current projects include a university multi-purpose plaza and a garden café in Japan, the redevelopment of the Russian Polytechnic Museum in Moscow, and the Park Groot Vijversburg Project in the Netherlands.
