I’m Judy Kaufmann, a Barcelona based illustrator working with a colorful and fresh style which has attracted all kinds of clients from around the world as well as some significant publications. Alongside my Illustration practice, I collaborate annually with the University of Barcelona as an instructor in creativity for advertising students.

At the age of twenty I started a 20 year career as a modern dancer. It took me all around the world and greatly informed my sense of space and how we move through it. By my late twenties I began my parallel career as a set decorator. I love creating the environments for each character, imagining their background, past experiences, present circumstances, hopes, and desires. My goal is to convey these to the audience, whether overtly or subconsciously.
