Jos¨¦ Mar¨ªa S¨¢nchez Garc¨ªa (1975) graduated from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM) in 2002, and obtained a Phd in Architecture from the ETSAM for his thesis entitled 'The Bath Case' in 2016. He has a full professorship in Design at the Madrid School of Architecture and works as a Visiting Professor at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio (Switzerland), at the ETH University in Zurich and at the IUAV in Venice. In 2017 he was awarded by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) with an Honorary Fellowship. Among others, he also recived an honourable mention in the Spanish Architecture Awards 2017.
