BUREAU is the new project of Daniel Zamarbide. The practice hides under its generic name a variety of research activities. BUREAU makes things as an urge to react to the surrounding physical, cultural and social environment with a critical standpoint and with an immersive attitude. BUREAU is (in 2017) a furniture series, an editorial project, a design team. We are architects.

Jos¨¦, Interior Designer graduated in Castelo Branco city, walked around Oporto, escaped to Finland, congregating formations, accumulating landscapes. In the last ten years he has made hotels and developed furniture for author design brands. Miguel Marcelino (Portugal, 1981), architect (UAL, 2005), lives and works in Lisbon. Studied music from 1993 to 1998 at the Gregorian Institute of Lisbon. Worked with Herzog & de Meuron (Switzerland, 2003/04) and Bonell & Gil (Spain, 2005/07), before establishing his own office in 2008, winning right on that year his first open competition. His built work covers the most varied scales and programs, from small private dwellings to large public buildings.
